Infant Nutrition Education is an online accredited Continuing Professional Development (CPD) program that aims to support primary care physicians and healthcare professionals (HCPs) in the best practice management of early life nutrition. Participants will consolidate their understanding of the importance of the first 1,000 days of life, functional gastrointestinal disorders, cow’s milk allergy and preterm infants.

 

Understanding the nutritional needs of the preterm infant

In this module you will gain an introduction to the very specific nutritional needs of the preterm infant, some of the main challenges involved in feeding preterm infants, the ESPGHAN guidelines and how to support the parents of a preterm infant.
